| With the recent resignation of the Director of Youth, there are things that need to be discussed in terms of what will happen with the youth group between now and when we get a new Director of Youth, and how we will do it.
Join us this Sunday at 9:00am for an informational meeting about the future of the youth group (in the least ominous sounding way possible).
As you may know, the leaders and parents have already had brief meetings about this subject. This will be your chance to hear what the options are, and give your input, as well as ask questions to the leaders, the commission, and Pastor Jo-Ann.
Also, your parents are welcome to join us at 9:45am for a meeting with Tom Sopwith from Youth Unlimited (formerly Youth For Christ) who will discuss the details of one of our options (more info on that at the meeting).

Meet in the church parking lot for 6pm; we'll be back by 11pm.
Please bring donations for the food bank along with $6 for the concert.

| WELCOME TO OCTOBER! September was a SMASHING success, and so let's see what's in store for this month...... Friday, Oct. 3rd - Gospel Project - we're going to help cook/serve dinner for International Alpha.
5pm @ the Church. Friday, Oct 12th - RAKE AND RUN! Dress wisely for being outdoor, and if you've got a rake, please bring it! We will end back at the SQ with Hot Chocolate and fun times.

Ok, ok, there's more....here is what is happening for the month of September!! FRIDAY, Sept 12th - Parent/Student Dessert Night - Bring your Parents and come to party!!! We'll have some games, some food and some more information about what this year is going to look like. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY COME!

SATURDAY, Sept 20th - THE AMAZING RACE - Back by the most popular of all demands! IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN RAIN OR SHINE! Gather up all your friends, your running shoes and your rain gear cuz it is going to be the EVENT OF THE YEAR FO SHO!
1pm-7:30pm (Begins and ends @ SQ). Cost = $10.
